Computer and Internet Wi-Fi Access:
The Library has five computers (3 PCs, 1 MAC, & 1 PC Laptop) available for patron use in the Library. Patrons are required to read and sign the Computer Use Policy at the front desk prior to their first use of the Library computers. Printouts and copies may be made for 10 cents per page for black & white and 20 cents per page for color. The Library has wireless Internet access through out the facility and on the front porch. Anyone is welcome to bring their laptop to the Library for their own personal use. The Library cannot be held responsible for any loss of private property so we ask that you do not leave your laptop unattended while visiting our facility.
Loan Periods:
Books and Audio Books: 3 weeks.
Videos and magazines: 1 week.
Library items may be renewed in person or by phone (567-4147).
Late Fees: 10 cents per day per overdue item
Lost or Damaged Books: $25.00 for each item that is lost or damaged beyond repair.
Library Holdings:
6,227 books (fiction & nonfiction) comprised of 3,431 adult books,
2,629 children books, and
167 young adult books.
426 Audio books (CD and Tape).
760 Videos (DVD & VHS).
12 subscriptions – current and prior issue.
Ancestry.com database access through the Library's in-house computers. Due to licensing arrangements, patrons may not use their own computers to access the Ancestry.com database unless they have their own paid subscription.
The library adds to its holdings on a regular basis. Stop by often to see what’s newly arrived.
Circulation: The library circulates 2,663 items per year.

Maine InfoNet
Library patrons can download audiobooks and eBooksfrom MaineInfoNet using your Stockton Springs Community Library Card Number. Around 200 titles of eBooks that play on both Mac and PC are now available. To set up your account you will first need to register for this service at the library. Access to the MaineCat Statewide Library Catalog is also available through Maine InfoNet.

Stockton Springs Historical Society
The Stockton Springs Community Library shares space
in the Colcord House with its owner, the Stockton
Springs Historical Society (SSHS). Starting mid-May through September,
SSHS will have a Society member available every Saturday morning from 9 am to 12 pm to meet with visitors to the SSHS historical rooms and to assist with looking up information.
The Historical Society welcomes donations of local family records.
The SSHS meets the first Sunday of each month,
February through November, 1 pm at Colcord House.
