The Dolly Parton Imagination Library provides free books each month to all enrolled Waldo County children from birth to age 5. SSCL enthusiastically supports this foundation's mission to foster the love of books and reading. The Trustees of SSCL recently voted to send $500 to support our partners in distributing books to the eligible children in our community. Special thanks to our "Local Champion," the Belfast Free Library, for coordinating the program in Waldo County.
