In 2005, the Gettysburg Foundation was years-deep into their research on how to accurately restore the former Boston Cyclorama painting of Pickett's Charge.  Fourteen feet of the total painting are missing.  Faced with just making it up on what would have been that void, Sue Boardman, Registered Battlefield Guide and principal of the restoration effort, was to receive 5 photos, out of the blue, from our Society, asking if she had any idea what the photos represented.  Oh, to have been a fly on the wall when they realized their two-year search for these souvenir photos had ended.
